Tirsit Yetbarek Seme is a socio-political researcher based in the Horn of Africa and currently serves as Head of the Somaliland Centre for African Studies (SCAS) in Somaliland. With an academic background in social anthropology, sociolinguistics, peace and security, and communications, she also serves at Jigjiga University as lead researcher for cross-border community development programs.
